Barack Obama opposes outsourcing of jobs

I read this in the news edition of morning and was stunned to find the blocking hurdles Obama and team tend to be with millions of Nationals from other nations, who have made US as second home, far away from home. I doubt if the bill would be passed. In fact in real terms U.S. is the biggest gainer if you think in terms of brain-gain. The countries of the third world are paltry losers in this aspect as they tend to loose most of its brilliant scholars to the world leader.

If the policy of No job outsourcing is followed, It might prove stumbling blocks for its progress and on the same millions of aspiring hopes across the globe would be shattered as to no jobs being offered.

We all need Vitamin C to stay healthy.

I give more importance to this vitamin. Best known as a popular, though unproven, remedy for the common cold, vitamin C( or Ascorbic acid ) is vital for the production of collagen, a protein needed for healthy skin, bones, cartilage, teeth, and gums, and which plays an important role in healing wounds and burns. It also helps to produce the neurotransmitters Noradrenaline, which regulates blood flow, and serotonin, which helps to promote sleep.

Some experts believe that this vitamin C protect us from cancer, because the pulp and pith of most of the citrus fruits contain compounds known as Bioflavonoids which are thought to neutralise cancer-causing substances. What else we need. Our almost all health problems can be solved if we all take the necessary quantity of Vitamin C through our daily foods. A normal adult require only 40mg a day, which could be provided by a small orange. Smokers need double ( 80mg/day ) as a compensation. So, now on, let us all take Vitamin C daily with our food.

Blast Off! by Allison Maslan

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Allison Maslan, author of "Blast Off!". All opinions are 100% mine.

I used to read a lot when I was growing up, but got out of the habit. Since I'm a blogger now, I figured reading would be a good habit to get into. I read 'the Harry Potter series and the Twilight books, and now I'm reading "Blast Off! by Allison Maslan". Which is available on Amazon. I love it, it is a life coaching book designed to offer step-by-step guidance along the path to discovering your goals and working to attain them.

Allison Maslan wrote this book from her own experiences, she has been a successful entrepreneur for the past 25 years and now she's written a book to tell you how she did it. It's designed to help people to achieve their dreams and lives into meaningful personal and professional lives. The book really gives some fresh ideas, written in a way that I was able to understand. Some self-help books use words that are out of this world but Blast Off! is definitely easy to understand. It covers all aspects of our personal life, spirituality, career, finances, and even relationships.

The book was just launched on Amazon, Borders, Barnes and Noble websites on January 19, so it’s still brand new. The book is only $24.00, and even less on Amazon.com.

What did you do to make yourself fall asleep?

I cant sleep without music myself. Ive always had to have music. If still, I can't fall asleep, I turn on the tv and try to find something interesting to watch. Overtime, my eyes will eventually get tired and I just fall asleep. Some say that watching tv before going to sleep doesn't work because it apparently triggers some brain cells that keep you going. In my case though, I think it works perfectly fine or I tend to lie for hours until I get so tired and exhausted that I collapse and fall asleep. I also tend to fall asleep faster if its really warm in my room. I cant sleep if its freezing so warmth will help as well.

Charter On Demand

Ondemand

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Charter. All opinions are 100% mine.

We used to have cable, but can’t afford it now. It’s been about 2 years since I had it. It’s not the most important thing, but I miss animal planet, discovery channel, TLC, Family Guy and Desparate Housewives and there are certain channels I enjoy the most. I love the History Channel especially when they have docs on about Egyptology and ancient cities like Rome, Greece, Egypt, etc. Then I also enjoy National Geographic. It's addicting. In fact, none of us want to miss watching or listening to our favorite movie, TV shows or music. But since our life is very much hectic these days, it is not always possible to get our favorite things at the right time. But everything changed when I learn about OnDemand. On Demand is the latest craze in cable features. Which will let us watch the show we want right away. No more waiting or worries with schedules!

Charter On Demand lets you access the TV shows and movies you missed or want to see again whenever you want. There is no extra charge for the Video On Demand service. There are over 6,000 movies and shows to watch anytime you want.

So, go ahead and learn more at charter.net/ondemand and find out what you've been missing! You can also get updates and fun extras on Charter’s Facebook page too.

Do you think that Louis Vuitton bags, Christian Loubotin shoes, Versace gowns, really worth the price?

Do you think high end branded clothing or accessories are worth the price?

According to me, Not just no, hell no.

I buy clothes to cover my nudity and keep me warm, not for showing off. There are many people starving in the world that could use some of that money the complete morons pay for luxury brand items. I think an item should cost no more than the equivalent of the materials and the work put into it's manufacturing. That being said a pair of jeans with holes in it should not cost me 80 dollars. It's foolish to pay for somebodies name on your clothing unless that name has magical powers. If having a Verscace gown made it where a cookie appeared every time I said "woohoo" I'd spend the money.

DO YOU USE PLANNERS OR ORGANIZERS?

I know it's too late to ask this question as February is fast approaching.. but I just wanna ask, how many of you use a PLANNERS OR ORGANIZERS??

Well I do:D I started in 2008 and at the end of the year it feels great to see your accomplishments for the whole year.. In 2009 when I became least active, I just fill the spaces with Bible verses to keep me going.

I already bought a red pocket planner for 2010, and hopefully, may God fill it with a lot of activities for me to keep busy. I prefer keeping a pocket planner because I just find it personal and convenient for me:D

So anyway, who among you uses a PLANNERS OR ORGANIZERS?? or do you prefer a phone organizer instead?? or a PDA?? what are your gadgets/ materials to organize or plan your meetings/ appointments or trips??

Plan to change the world by sponsoring a child today!

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of SEO 5 Consulting. All opinions are 100% mine.

I help others all the time and whenever i didn't get much credit for it, it always put me down. But just because some people aren't grateful doesn't mean that i am going to stop helping. Helping people in the simplest way, everyday, is always worth it. I believe that this world is drifting really far from how things use to be. We should not be so hateful, we need to be willing to help in at least someway. And i just always believed that and kept telling myself that someday, if not today, i will make a difference-weather it be in some persons life, or even mine.

As you go about your day thinking about the "happenings" in the world and most specially in the poorest regions of the world, It is important to keep in mind that EVERY day all over the world, 25,000 children under 5 die because they lack access to things we take for granted – clean water, sanitation, food and from basic medical ailments. Children are struggling with hopelessness - they need our love, they need our relationship, they need our help.

By sponsoring a child, you can help an entire community of children leave poverty behind. For just $35 a month, you can invest in grassroots programs that will help local people build schools, train teachers, empower girls, dig wells, run health clinics, start small businesses, and much more.

It starts with one child, sponsor a child today!

It is good to help others who are in need because life is just a game, sometimes you win, tomorrow you might be the loser and you will also need help from others.

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of IZEA. All opinions are 100% mine.

Socialspark_small

SocialSpark is a kind of blogging community, where you can find some great blogs and make friends at the same time you can make money, It is similar to payperpost because you can make money by writing about those opportunities. But the difference is that, It is more social and they have this queue system, you will have to wait to get the opportunity open or reserved for you. They also offer “Cost Per Click, Affiliate and Sponsorship Opportunities,” simply place a box on your site and get paid. As simple as that!

I also like the Props and Drops options. Where you can give someone a "prop" for positive vote, and a "drop" for negative vote. If you think the opportunity is good then prop it and if not drop it.

This is the screenshot of SocialSpark, where you can find the opportunities, featured blogs, props, account activity, etc.

let us pray that the people of Haiti get rid of suffering.

100,000 people feared dead in the earthquake that struck Haiti on Tuesday night local time on January 12. Many victims died unknown trapped in the building such as houses, hotels and hospitals that collapsed due to magnitude seven earthquake is the Richter scale.

Survivors crying out loud people came when they managed to save themselves from the buildings razed to the ground now. The scene seems pitiful look of a school that collapsed and caused the students who were trapped inside.

The number of victims seems it is difficult to estimate, but the Prime Minister of Haiti Jean Max Bellerive estimated 100.000 citizens confirmed to have died. This amount is different from what is expressed by President René Préval. Preval assumed if the victim was killed approximately 50,000 people.

Although many foreign countries who have started giving assistance to the Caribbean country, the rescue workers still do not seem visible. As a result of efforts to rescue victims who are still trapped just by Haitian citizens who survived the quake.

((The unhelpful heritage vanishes.))

David Beckham’s tattoo

Despite two months of rest, but the former Manchester United player was still sharp before joining again with Milan. Beckham already has a cross tattooed on his neck behind him, only inches from the tattoo 'guardian angel' is inscribed on the shoulder and the angel on his left shoulder.

Beckham also tattooed in Hebrew writings, including his wife, Victoria with Jewish writings that read, "I am my beloved, my beloved is mine."

I'm so excited for the new and up coming season of American Idol. I'm a fan of the show for so long and I followed every episode of it. I'm looking forward to see new great talents and curious about the new judge they have. Ellen de Generes will going to be part of it and I'm sure it will going to be an interesting season. First show will be aired this week and I'm so thrilled to see it. Idol week is fun to watch especially the audition part where weird contest strut their stuff. haha! I can't wait.

I wish all of you the best and I hope you have a wonderful year coming up.

The old year is gone. Some of it was good, some was not. Family and friends moved on. We all grew in one way or another. This is a brand new start for a brand new year. We need not focus on the way things went last year. I'm so glad to be alive and here right now!!

My brand new dishwasher will be here soon! I am so excited. The new Roomba I got for Christmas has done a wonderful job in the living room!! When it's all done, it turns itself around and goes to the docking station and automatically begins to recharge!! How cool is that?

I am taking over the shop. All it does is collect junk. The junk is going, the good stuff is going to the storage locker and I am moving my sewing, cross stitch, & craft stuff out there. I have a phone out there, a fridge, plenty of light and gobs of room!! I won't have to worry about little hands messing with my sewing machine or kitties laying on my projects. The coffee pot will go out there too along with a radio. I'll be set!! This is my January project. What my February project will be is yet to be determined. Depending on the weather it may be the back yard!!!
