There were rumors say that our economy on the progress of recovery. I didn't see the sign, and I didn't notice about it anything like recovering. Instead, I heard so many horrible news lately. Yesterday, on the radio, Home Depot might laid off 1,000 employees due to closing of its many stores. SAM's club too, will be dismiss 11,000 employees, because of lack of business since the recession hit the market. Blockbuster losing market to netflix and redbox. Starbucks will also closing 200 stores nationwide. With all these horrible news, it just make all of us worry.

I visit Silver Dollar City when I can't afford the time or the travel to bigger tourist destinations. When I was a kid, I often awake with nightmares. My nightmares always involve Aliens, Bigfoot, Alligators, Bees, Drowning in Milk. I hate those ones where you can't run or scream. Then the monster gets you.

But as I grow older, I rarely visited with nightmares. Some people said that the causes of nightmare for adults are the following; taking a late night snack,(it increase metabolism and signal the brain to be more active)taking anti-depressants,pain killers, anxiety and depression.

The animals are the ones that sometimes neglected to save.

After the big storm hit the Philippines I saw a huge traces of the destruction it left. So sad that most of the crop, trees and roads have been destroyed. Many families are living on a shelter far from home, a large number of houses, establishment, cars and other properties have been destroyed. More over there are lives that have been lost during this calamity. I was focusing on people and nature most of the time in cases like this. And I wonder how many animals and pets died and suffer with this event. I saw some animals died on the road, the news flashes some abandoned pets and most of them are being rescued from the flood. So sad that aside from humans, many of this animals also died.

Some of reality shows are awesome and it won't hurt to watch some of it.

I used to hate reality shows. I really do hated some of it until now. But recently, I got hooked with MTV's "16 and Pregnant" and "Taking the Stage". Both are great reality shows to watch. "Taking the Stage" is all about dreams and the reality of reaching it. The show revolves around teens who fight to achieve what they want in life and all of them are great talents and has the passion for art, music and entertainment. While "16 and Pregnant" tells about the stories and life of young teens who got pregnant so early. It teaches many lesson especially for young ones whose facing this type of situation. As a whole, some of reality shows are awesome and it won't hurt to watch some of it.

Date Night.. thoughts?

I admit that I was super excited to see this because the COMMERCIALS made it look SO GOOD! But it turns out that I was slightly disappointed (as well as CONFUSED!) in the end. I thought the ending was a bit of a cop-out. The storyline was just that this couple (Tina Fey/Steve Carrell) got confused for this other couple (by stealing their dinner reservations) and wound up in all this trouble with two gangsters (who were cops?) and went on this big wild goose chase to get to the bottom of it.



I enjoyed Mark Wahlberg's shirtless presence, as well as some quips from Tina Fey & Steve Carrell (they seemed to be a pretty good "couple" and had some funny back-and-forths) but besides that I was honestly a little disappointed that I paid $10 to see it in theater. I'm thinking, I probably should've waited for it to come out on RedBox!

My daughter is a big Wiggles fan

My daughter is a big Wiggles fan. She has seen a lot of their videos and has a few cds. We have a few wiggles toys, they are a little harder to find. I just got her some view master reels for Christmas. I like them because she likes them; she can sing to their music and has learned the dance to a few of them. They make her happy a lot of the time and we even have a cd in the car for her to listen to. I can hear her sing along in the backseat. Just too cute! Yes I have gone overboard on wiggles items but I figure she will out grow them way too soon so might as well enjoy it now. Do you children like the Wiggles have you even hear of them? If you have done you wake up with Wiggles songs stuck in your head. Nothing like humming rock-a-bye your bear first thing in the morning.
